Panoramic visualisation in a single acquisition of: complete dental arches, mandible, maxillary sinuses, mandibular condyles and temporomandibular joints.
Complete dental arches bilaterally, without obvious distortion.
Full mandible included (mandibular rami visible).
Mandibular condyles included on both sides.
Maxillary sinuses partially visualised.
No vertebral ghost from the cervical spine.
No artefacts from metallic objects (prostheses, earrings).
Cervical spine not straight → radiopaque vertebral ghost at the centre of the image.
Chin too high → lower arch curved upward ("smile").
Chin too low → lower arch curved downward ("frown").
Patient not centred laterally → asymmetrical magnification between the two sides.
Tongue not in contact with the palate → radiolucent band above the upper roots.
Movement during the ~15 seconds of acquisition.
