Quality criteria
Complete joint visualisation.
Medial and lateral epicondyles visible and distinguishable (NOT superimposed — superimposition is a criterion for the lateral view).
Radial head and olecranon visible.
Joint open and symmetrical.
Common errors
Elbow not fully extended.
Forearm rotation.
Movement.
