HKA angle (Hip-Knee-Ankle)

Technical

Angle expressing the mechanical axis of the lower limb, measured between the femoral head, the centre of the knee and the centre of the ankle. Normally ±3° (neutral axis). Positive values indicate varus; negative values indicate valgus. Essential for prosthetic surgical planning.
