"Scottie dog"
AnatomyCharacteristic image formed on the oblique projection of the lumbar spine. The "Scottie dog" is made up of: nose = transverse process, eye = pedicle, ear = superior articular facet, front leg = inferior articular facet, neck = pars interarticularis. A fracture of the neck = spondylolysis.
