Subacromial impingement syndrome
AnatomyCompression of the rotator cuff and the subacromial bursa between the humeral head and the coracoacromial arch. Assessed with the "Neer" (Outlet) projection. The morphology of the acromion (type I, II, III) influences the risk of impingement.
