Intervertebral foramina

Anatomy

Intervertebral openings through which the spinal nerve roots and blood vessels pass. Bounded above and below by the pedicles, anteriorly by the vertebral bodies and intervertebral discs, and posteriorly by the articular facets. Visualised in oblique spine projections.
